GIS CompEdge 2025: A Unified Approach to Interventional Cardiology
We’re excited to announce that the GIS Complications Cases show has officially merged with the Intracoronary Imaging & Physiology Event to form GIS CompEdge 2025!
This collaboration brings together two vital areas of interventional cardiology, offering a comprehensive and integrated program.
Jointly organized with the Imaging & Physiology Working Group, this dual-focus scientific program—highlighting both challenges and imaging breakthroughs—will take place at the Gulf Hotel, Bahrain, on September 12–13, 2025.
Attendees will gain deeper insights into managing complex cases and optimizing patient outcomes through advanced imaging and physiological assessment.

Case Submission Guidelines
General Requirements
- All cases must be presented in a PowerPoint format and written in clear English.
- Cases must be submitted via the online case submission link.
- Each case must be submitted under the appropriate category for review based on its scientific content.
Case Title Guidelines:
- Titles are limited to 10 words or fewer.
- Titles should be dynamic and conclusive, not merely descriptive.
- Capitalize the first letter of each word, except for prepositions or articles.
- Titles should not be bold.
Author Guidelines:
- One person must be designated as the Presenting Author.
- The order of authors may be modified anytime before the submission deadline.
- Patient names must be removed from all submitted presentations.

Important Dates
- Submission Deadline: 5 August 2025
Submissions received after this date will not be considered.
Cases cannot be modified after this date for reviewing purposes. - Notification of Acceptance: Will be announced soon.
- Maximum File Size: 10 MB
Presenter Agreement
All presenters must agree to the following conditions when submitting a Case:
- Affirm that the work has not been published (in print or electronically) elsewhere prior to the meeting.
- Agree that if the case is accepted, GIS has permission to publish the case in printed and/or electronic formats.
Presenter Changes & Withdrawal Policy
If you are unable to attend the meeting and wish to name a substitute presenter, please use the following guidelines:
- Only the Presenting Author can request a presenter change.
- Substitute presenters must not be presenting another case at the meeting.
- All substitution requests must be submitted prior to the meeting.
- Send substitution or withdrawal requests via email to: sandra.wasfy@icomgroup.org
- Withdrawal policy: If authors wish to withdraw their case/s, they are requested to send a letter via e-mail to the above-mentioned email
Financial Assistance
- Limited financial assistance is available for this conference in the form of Virtual / In Person Assistance
Awards
- The best three case presenters will be awarded during the closing of the show.
