Overview
GIS Intervention Training Program is a limited seated training program, which will be running for 5 months on 3 consecutive phases:
- Online Learning Phase
- Simulation Phase
- Hospital Observation Phase
experience phase will be in collaboration with Magdy Yacoub Heart Foundation
Phase 1
The Online Learning Phase
which will be conducted through an ongoing learning management system platform, aiming to educate early-level physicians specializing in intervention specialty to enrich their knowledge in clinical practice and support training and education in the cardiovascular field.
Phase 2
Simulation Phase
which will be for 1 month splitted into 2 waves (15 days each) These modules provide a range of patient cases with distinguished anatomies and scenarios, facilitating knowledge based and procedural skills training for this procedure.
Phase 3
Hospital Observation Phase
The practical experience phase will be in collaboration with Magdy Yacoub Heart Foundation. The selected candidates will be eligible for live hospital observation inside the Cath labs of Magdy Yacoub Foundation for a period of 1 month

- Stent Thrombosis, instent restenosis from prevention to treatment
- Complication and cath-lab, perforation, dislodgment, entrapment
- Approach to calcific lesion, rotaablation, shock wave, rotation atherectomy
Registration
- Registration will be by request submissions to allow the program directors to define the profiles that fit the program criteria
- After getting accepted, you will receive a payment link to proceed with your registration and to receive your access kit
- Fees should be paid within 7 days after getting accepted
