Dr. Antonio Colombo is an expert interventional cardiologist with a very large experience in coronary stenting, peripheral vascular interventions and treatment of structural heart disease including TAVI and Mitral Interventions. Dr. Colombo works in Milano, Italy, as a Director of Cardiovascular Interventions in San Raffaele Scientific Institute (a major University Hospital in Italy), in Columbus Hospital as well as in New York, USA at Columbia Medical Center as a Visiting Professor of Medicine. Gary S. Mintz, MD, • is Chief Medical Officer of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) and a Co-Director of Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT). • He is the author of approximately 1000 peer reviewed articles, 60 book chapters, 4 books, and 850 abstracts concerning various aspects of clinical cardiology, cardiac ultrasound, hemodynamics, cardiac radiology and coronary arteriography, interventional cardiology, and (especially) intravascular imaging and physiology. • In 2005, Dr. Mintz published the single-authored textbook Intracoronary Ultrasound that has now been translated into Chinese. In 2014, Dr. Mintz received the Master of the Masters Career Achievement Award at the TCTAP-Cardiovascular Summit in Seoul, Korea; in 2015 • Dr. Mintz received the Chien Foundation Outstanding Lectureship & Lifetime Achievement Award, also presented at TCTAP-Cardiovascular Summit in Seoul, Korea; and in 2017 Dr. Mintz received the Outstanding Achievement Award at CBS 2017, Nanjing, China.

From 1989 until now, he performed approximately 12000 procedures of Interventional Cardiology including PTCAs , directional and rotational atherectomies, coronary stenting, IVUS, intracoronary pressure wire and flow wire studies both in elective and emergency settings, approximately 400 peripheral angioplasty procedures including extra-cranial carotid artery angioplasty, approximately 80 procedures of TAVI , 200 PFO closure and 10 LAA closure . He is also owner of international patents on stent delivery system and stents for bifurcation lesions .

He completed his residency in Internal Medicine from the University of Indiana, Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology training at Henry Ford Hospital and Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. He is currently a senior staff at Henry Ford Hospital specializing in the treatment of chronic total occlusions, high risk percutaneous coronary interventions and mechanical circulatory support research. He is an investigator in the National Cardiogenic Shock Initiative a multi-center prospective single arm study evaluating the use of early hemodynamic support guided by invasive hemodynamics in the treatment of acute myocardial infarctions complicated by cardiogenic shock

Tarek Helmy, MD, FACC, FSCAI Dr. Helmy is a Professor of cardiology and director of the J. Gerard Mudd Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, St. Louis Missouri. Dr. Helmy is a 1991 graduate of Cairo University, Egypt. In June 2000, he completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at New England Medical Center Tufts University, Boston, Massachusetts. He has served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia, and Professor of Medicine, Director of the interventional cardiology fellowship program, and director of the cardiac Catheterization Lab at the University Of Cincinnati, Ohio. Currently Dr. Helmy is a Professor of cardiology and director of the J. Gerard Mudd Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, St. Louis Missouri. Dr. Helmy has published several peer reviewed articles and has lectured both nationally and internationally. He has been involved in Clinical Teaching of general and interventional cardiology fellows since 2002.

Professor Chen is now in charge Of 16 national Funding Projects. She is Deputy Editor of the Journal of Geriatric Cardiology and Chief Editor Of 6 monographs & teaching materials. She has been instrumental in spreading the influence of Chinese medicine in the area of coronary interventional treatment.
